Kherson region: occupiers threaten parents who do not want to let their children go to schools seized by the Russians

The Russian invaders are threatening to confiscate the property of parents who do not send their children to study in Russian schools in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Oblast.

Quote from the National Resistance Centre: "In September, the Russians plan to start the school year according to the Russian programme, that is, in fact, they will be propaganda centres for the Russification of Ukrainian children. However, parents are in no hurry to send their children to these "educational institutions".

Now the occupiers are threatening to evict families who do not agree to their children being educated in Russian schools."

Details: It is noted that the occupiers are vowing to confiscate the property of such families.

Also, the invaders have already warned that parents who do not apply for their children's education in "schools" will be fined 148,000 roubles (over 90,000 hryvnias – ed.) [equiv. to approx USD 2,500].

The National Resistance Centre is calling on residents of temporarily occupied territories to evacuate immediately for the period of the operation to liberate the territory.
