Khloé Kardashian Basically Just Copied Rihanna’s Iconic Naked Dress for the Second Time

• Khloé Kardashian showed up dressed just like Rihanna at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards.

Khloé Kardashian just threw her daughter True Thompson the biggest bash for her first birthday over the weekend, but she’s not done partying yet. Last night, Khloé, the rest of her family, and her ex French Montana (!!!) celebrated Kourtney Kardashian’s 40th birthday, and Khloé basically wore the same exact outfit Rihanna did at the CFDA Fashion Awards five years ago.

For Kourt’s big night, Khloé wore a floor-length nude gown covered in Swarovski crystals, paired with a headpiece designed by Yousef Al-Jasmi. According to Elle, the whole look took three weeks to put together, and Khloé helped create it. Yousef said they wanted “a look that was pure glamour but stayed true to Khloé’s ever-changing personal style.” And while the design is incredibly beautiful, it ended up looking a whole lot like Rihanna’s iconic naked dress, and fans were quick to notice.

Back in 2014, Rihanna simply killed the CFDA red carpet when she waltzed up there in a sheer crystal-covered gown designed by Adam Selman with nothing but a beige thong underneath.

Granted, Khloé didn’t carry a mink shawl and her dress wasn’t fully see-through, but the overall vibe and the cap are so similar to RiRi’s that it’s impossible to ignore.

This isn’t the first time Khloé’s been accused of copying Rihanna’s CFDA gown. For Kris Jenner’s 60th birthday party in 2015, Khloé wore a sparkly chain-like gown and headpiece, which she admitted Rihanna inspired after her followers called her out. At the time, Khloé tweeted, “She was my inspiration. No one can do it like she did. I was inspired by her dopeness. Love Rih and loved my look.”

Khloé hasn’t responded to the comparisons of this year’s version of the dress because, TBH, she could still be recovering from the party last night. Or she just doesn’t care. Time and tweets will tell!
