Khloé Kardashian’s Very Low-Key Relationship With a Private Equity Investor Is Over

Today in Kardashian relationship status updates, Khloé Kardashian is officially single again.

According to Us Weekly, Khloé’s low-key romance with a mysterious, unidentified private equity investor (the ’ship first made headlines a couple of months ago) is officially over. The cause of the breakup doesn’t seem to be anything dramatic though, according to a source close to Khloé who dished on the split.

“Khloé and the private equity investor broke up,” the source confirmed to Us Weekly. “They split a few weeks ago—things just fizzled out between them.”

Khloé and her still-cloaked-in-mystery ex were reportedly introduced by Kim Kardashian at a dinner party, and last month, another Kardashian insider told Us Weekly that she had “moved on and is happy in her new relationship, which is still in its early stages,” adding that "Tristan [Thompson] would want nothing more than to be back with Khloé, so of course there’s jealousy there.”

The news of Khloé’s newly single status comes amid reports that she and Tristan have welcomed their second child via surrogate but are still definitely *not* back together romantically.

“The two aren’t together and Khloé will have the baby full-time,” a source close to the sitch recently explained to Entertainment Tonight. “Khloé wants Tristan in both the kids’ lives as much as he wants to be.”

For now, Khloé has made it clear that she wants to focus on family time and bonding with her son (whose name is still currently TBA).

“Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family,” her rep told People in a statement after news of her son’s birth broke.

So TL;DR: Khloé broke up with the mystery dude she was dating but is very happy focusing on the newest man in her life.
