Kicking up their heels: Mitchell Senior Center hosts weekend dances

The Center, located at 101 Tom Green Drive in Mitchell, hosts dances and other activities for seniors every week. The band Country Plus plays Feb. 3 and 4, Paul Smith plays Feb. 11 and 12 (along with a pitch in dinner), Gary Terrel will play Feb. 17 and 18, with the Little Mountain Band returning Feb. 24 and 25. Admission for members is $6, non-members $7. The doors open at 5 p.m., and the dance starts at 6. There is also bingo every Thursday from 1-3 p.m., and euchre from 3-5 p.m. For more information, call Mitchell Senior Citizens Inc. at 812 849-2024.
