Kickoff and TV information announced for future K-State, KU, Big 12 football games

Fans can begin making plans for the opening week of Big 12 football.

Teams across the conference will begin playing league games against each other, with eight games on tap for Sept. 23. The Big 12 and its TV partners have announced kickoff times and broadcast information for all of them.

The Kansas Jayhawks will host BYU at 2:30 p.m. that day at Memorial Stadium in a game that will be played on national television. With both KU and BYU off to 2-0 starts, ESPN decided to carry their matchup on its flagship channel during the afternoon.

Kansas State will player later in the day, hosting UCF at 7 p.m. under the lights of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The No. 15 Wildcats will get an appearance in prime time after playing both Troy and Missouri in the morning window.

KU and K-State are also in action this weekend.

The Jayhawks are headed to Nevada for a non-conference game against the Wolf Pack at 9:30 p.m.

The Wildcats will take on the Missouri Tigers at 11 a.m. at Faurot Field on Saturday.
