A mom wrote a note to her daughter’s teacher explaining her daughter would miss school after seeing Taylor Swift on a school night, and stuffed the note with song titles.

Karen Vladeck starts the note with “Dear Reader [Ms. Parks],” referencing the artist’s last track on Swift’s most recently released album, “Midnights.”

“I’m writing to let you know that Maddie won’t be in school on 4/24 because she is going to the Taylor Swift concert in Houston. I hope missing school doesn’t ruin her otherwise stellar Reputation, but she begged me to go and maybe I Should Have Said No but I didn’t want to be Mean. So It Goes…” the note reads, referencing the singer’s 2017 album “Reputation” and one song from the album called “So It Goes.”

The songs “Should Have Said No” and “Mean” are from Swift’s 2006 self-titled debut and her 2010 album “Speak Now,” respectively.

“Anyway, I hope this doesn’t leave any Bad Blood between you and Maddie and that things for the rest of the year are not Treacherous,” the note continues, referencing the song “Bad Blood” off the “Reputation” album and “Treacherous” from Swift’s 2012 album “Red.” (Swift has since released her re-recorded version of the album in 2021.)

“I know I Did Something Bad and I promise this will be The Last Time she has an unexcused absence before the Cruel Summer starts,” the note continues.

“I Did Something Bad” is a song from “Reputation.” “The Last Time” is a song from “Red,” and “Cruel Summer” is a song from Swift’s 2019 album “Lover.”

Vladeck wrote “Forever & Always,” in the signoff, referencing the song off Swift’s 2008 album “Fearless” (which she re-recorded and released in 2021) and sent the note off. The subject line? “It’s Me, Hi, I’m the Problem, It’s Me,” a popular line from Swift’s song “Anti-Hero.”

“Here’s hoping my daughter’s 1st grade teacher is a Swiftie,” she said on Twitter, sharing a screenshot of the note.

Vladeck also shared the teacher’s enthusiastic response: “THIS MADE MY ENTIRE DAY.”

It’s unclear if Hillsborough County Schools Superintendent Addison Davis followed Vladeck’s lead, but the educator posted his own tribute to Swift’s discography in a message sent to students on April 12, the day before Swift plays a show in Tampa.

The video, set to the background music in Swift’s song “Mastermind” off her latest album “Midnights,” shows Davis addressing students.

“There’s a Delicate situation we must discuss,” he starts in the video, which was also transcribed as a letter emailed to students. “Are you …Ready For It?”

“Ready For It” is a song on Swift’s “Reputation” album.

The letter references 27 songs from every one of Swift’s albums to notify students absences on Friday, April 14, won’t be excused the day after the show. And Davis also signs off using “Forever and Always.”

The last few paragraphs of the long letter read: “All You Had To Do Was Stay in class. I hope there is not a Blank Space in your seat on Friday morning. It could be a Cruel Summer if you prioritize being a Swiftie over being in class. You Belong With Me, Me!, in school. Please don’t make me see Red with your absence.”
