Kid Rock, the Trump-loving, sometimes-hate-spewing, rock n' roll/country singing guy, is in the news again.

Seems the musician, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie and who owns a house in Jupiter Inlet Colony (in Palm Beach County), has a problem with ... work with me here ... beer.

In an Instagram video posted April 4, Kid Rock, wearing a MAGA hat, starts out by saying "Grandpa's feeling a little frisky today. Let me say, uh, something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible."

He then uses what looks like a semi-automatic rifle to shoot at and destroy three 12-packs of Bud Light.

He ends the video by saying "F--- Bud Light and f--- Anheiser Busch. Have a terrific day."

Why, you wonder?

Well, since he hasn't talked publicly about why, we can only speculate. And that's what the internet is for.

What is the Kid Rock Budweiser controversy about?

Turns out that Bud Light began a partnership with transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney, which ticked off a bunch of folks online.

That's apparently where Kid Rock comes in.

Warning: The following video includes graphic language.

According to NBC News, a spokesperson for Anheuser-Busch said the company “works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics.”

Mulvaney did not respond to a request for comment, according to NBC News.

It's not like Bud Light just jumped on the bandwagon of being open-minded.

As CNN reported, they've partnered with GLAAD (formerly the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) for two decades and even sold rainbow-colored bottles back in 2019.
