Kid Rock coming to Blossom Music Center with special guest Foreigner

Kid Rock is coming to our block.

The Michigan singer and rapper will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls.

Foreigner will be the special guest. The concert will also feature an appearance by country singer Trey Lewis.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Ticketmaster.com.

Kid Rock, 51, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, is known for such hits as “Bawitdaba,” “All Summer Long,” “Only God Knows Why,” “American Bad Ass,” “Cowboy” and “Picture.”

His “2022 Bad Reputation Tour” will include concerts April 15 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus with special guest Grand Funk Railroad and Aug. 17 at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati with Foreigner.

The 28-city tour will wrap up with shows Sept. 16-17 at Pine Knob Music Theater near his hometown of Detroit.

Foreigner features Mick Jones, Kelly Hansen, Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein, Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier and Luis Malsonado.

Health protocols are subject to change at Blossom Music Center. The organizer will continue to monitor COVID-19 trends. Fans who purchase tickets must agree to abide by the safety measures in effect at the time of the concert.

Those safety measures could include wearing masks, providing proof of vaccination status or providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Fans are encouraged to check Blossom Music Center for updates.
