It's never too early to start planning for the holidays, right?

Christmas 4 Kids — an annual concert benefitting underserved Nashville children each holiday season — returns Nov. 21 to the Ryman Auditorium for a 40th anniversary celebration.

Performers include "Just Another Day In Paradise" singer-songwriter Phil Vassar,  brotherly British trio Essex County, The Frontmen — a country group featuring one-time Lonestar, Little Texas and Restless Heart bandleaders — and "Famous Friends" hitmaker Chris Young.

Vassar returns to host the show; additional artists should be announced in the coming weeks, according to a news release.

Tickets start at $38.50 before fees and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via ryman.com.

Proceeds benefit a local nonprofit that provides roughly 400 Middle Tennessee children with a day-long holiday season shopping spree.

"Over 13,000 kids have been a part of our program over the years," Christmas 4 Kids president Linda O'Connell said in a press statement. "We're now including kids and grandkids of those we helped many years ago, and many of those parents and grandparents are joining us as volunteers to help today's kids. We couldn't be more proud as we celebrate year 40."
