KIDS CARE Community School Supply Drive

·1 min read

Jul. 13—Marietta nonprofit KIDS CARE will have a Community School Supply Drive through July 30.

KIDS CARE and the Cobb County Police Department's collaborative effort provides school supplies to students in need within Cobb County. Last year, following the "Backing the Need" school supply drive, 283 new backpacks filled with supplies were donated to Cobb County students in need.

There will be two drop off days at the Cobb Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Parkway SE in Marietta — July 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. and July 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Other drop off locations include West Cobb School of Rock and Medalyn Salon, both in Kennesaw; Mud Creek Market, The Champion Firm and The Nutrition Shop, all in Marietta; Hand-Me-Up's in Powder Springs; Chiropractic Specialists in Smyrna; and Cobb Police Precincts 1-5 and Cobb Police Headquarters.
