Kids looking for summer fun? Braintree's free playground drop-off program starts Monday

BRAINTREE – Four of the town's playgrounds will be staffed with instructors for organized play programs starting Monday.

The annual drop-off playground program will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays except for July 4 and will be held at Abraham Lincoln Park on Hobart Street, Harris Park at Elmlawn and Perry roads, Dyer Hill Playground on Washington Street and behind the Highlands School on Wildwood Avenue.

Children from ages 6 to 13 are invited to drop by any of the playgrounds for games and activities organized by recreation department staff. The program is free and no registration is required. It runs through Aug. 5.
