Here are three of the top stories in San Diego today:

  1. They wanted to do something to help. So, a group of students from the San Diego Jewish Academy in Del Mar joined together to raise funds for Ukrainians under attack by Russia. They started selling lemonade for $5 a glass, with all the proceeds going to the cause. Students have raised $12,000 to date with the help of two companies that agreed to match donations dollar for dollar. The students hope to raise more.   2. Your delivery might be a little late if your package was aboard an Amazon truck that flipped on a rain-slicked Interstate 805 early Sunday. The truck jackknifed, overturned, then caught on fire. Luckily, the driver was able to escape the vehicle. The packages were not so lucky. Packages were strewn across the freeway soaked by the rain. When the car slowed down, the passenger ran and was quickly caught. The man continued driving erratically, violating several other traffic laws before heading to the freeway at a high rate of speed.
