Kiké 1st start for Dodgers, Braves unchanged for NLCS Game 1

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Kiké Hernández is getting his first start this postseason for the Los Angeles Dodgers, playing second base and batting eighth in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves and lefty Max Fried on Monday night.

With Hernández at second base, Chris Taylor starts in left field after being at second base the first five playoff games. AJ Pollock, who had been the starter in left field, was the designated hitter in place of left-handed hitting Joc Pederson.

The Braves went with the same lineup they used for all three games in their NL Division Series against Miami last week, with young center fielder Ronald Acuña Jr. leading off against Los Angeles starter Walker Buehler.
