School officials said a transformer is out and it will take the rest of the morning to fix it.

“This is not an emergency situation, but given that the campus may be without power for an extended period of time we are asking Primary School Parents to please begin picking up their students following our normal afternoon student pick up procedures,” the district said in a statement.

Students who may not be able to be picked up in the morning will remain on campus until arrangements can be made for pickup.

“The safety of our students is our top priority and we appreciate your patience as we work through this outage,” the district said.
