No stranger to the political sphereKim Kardashian took some time away from staging bikini-clad selfies and wearing leather trench coats for a quick coffee date with Hillary and Chelsea Clinton. TMZ reports that the trio was seen in Los Angeles filming a project for Apple TV+.

The site published photos of the Clintons and Kardashian at Hot & Cool Cafe in Canoga Park, a Black-owned café. They were there to highlight the business for Gutsy Women, the Clintons' new project, not the upcoming Kardashian show set to air on Hulu. Naturally, Kim was wearing a floor-length black coat for filming, which can be seen on TMZ's website.

Gutsy Women "is a show featuring a cast of diverse and trailblazing women," TMZ notes, which is why the team decided to showcase owners Tina Amin and Tony Jolly. They decided to open Hot & Cool Cafe when they saw that the area lacked healthy and convenient food options. The vegan café also hired formally incarcerated individuals, a cause close to Kardashian's heart. The show is loosely based on the Clintons' book, The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and ResilienceDeadline reports.

During the Trump presidency, Kardashian paid multiple visits to the White House hoping to bring attention to criminal justice reform. During an interview with Vogue, she said that she was studying to be a lawyer and planned to take the bar exam, which she eventually did (the baby bar, to be exact).

"The White House called me to advise to help change the system of clemency, and I'm sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentenced criminals and a lot of really powerful people and I just sat there, like, 'Oh, shit.' I need to know more," she said back in 2019.

Her interest in law goes back to her childhood, she explained. When she was young, she would sneak into her father Robert Kardashian's office to read through cases in secret.

"My dad had a library, and when you pushed on this wall there was this whole hidden closet room, with all of his O.J. evidence books," she said. "On weekends, I would always snoop and look through. I was really nosy about the forensics."
