Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga And Miley Cyrus Have Been Affected By The Devastating California Wildfires
Catastrophic wildfires have swept across California, threatening the lives of people and animals in the community and causing mass damage to a large amount of properties.
More than 200 people are currently missing and 31 people are confirmed dead as a result of both the Woolsey fire in southern Cali and Camp Fire which ravaged areas further upstate. Dramatic photos show large amounts of smoke billowing into the air while brave firefighters have headed straight in to try and contain the fires. Hundreds of thousands of residents have been evacuated including famous residents like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and more.
Malibu, which is on the outskirts of Los Angeles, is home to many mansions and luxe apartments owned by the A-List. Famous residents from the area have been using their platforms to plead for help and donations for emergency services and people who have had to flee, praise the firefighters and first responders tackling the blaze and give updates on their homes and communities which were affected as the fire spread south over the weekend.
Here's some of the stars we've been getting updates from:
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
On Friday, Kim shared on Instagram stories that she and the family had an hour to pack up and evacuate their home in the Hidden Hills area. She later updated fans on Twitter that the fire was now more contained and had narrowly avoided the home she shares with her husband, Kanye.
I heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now are more contained and have stopped at the moment. It doesn’t seems like it is getting worse right now, I just pray the winds are in our favor. God is good. I’m just praying everyone is safe 🙏🏼

Kim's younger sister Khloe was another resident who evacuated on Friday, along with her baby daughter True Thompson. She told followers on Twitter that she fled just with 'the clothes on my back' but packed most of True's belongings as any new Mum would.
I just left with the clothes on my back but I think I packed Trues entire bedroom and closet into my car 🤦🏼♀️ obviously she’s all that matters to me 💜

All of the celebrities made sure to thank the firefighters who run directly into the blaze in order to save others and other people's homes. They also acknowledged they were lucky to be safe and out of the deadly fire's path and that many other residents who don't have the same profile have suffered enormously.
