Keeping Up With the Kardashians will reportedly not include Kanye West’s recent comments and tweets in its upcoming season in order to respect the West family’s privacy during this difficult time.

TMZ writes, “Kim made the decision none of it would be used as a storyline on the show,” and production sources confirmed she doesn’t want Kanye’s mental health to be “exploited for ratings or good TV drama.”

Production has also been told not to film Kim and Kanye’s kids during this time because Kim doesn’t want them to see the footage in the future. However, TMZ confirms the Kardashians *are* still filming in general right now—but they’re “following other storylines” at the moment.

This news comes after Kim released a statement on Instagram requesting empathy for Kanye:

“We as a society talk about giving grace to the issue of mental health as a whole; however, we should also give it to the individuals who are living with it in times when they need it the most,” Kim said. “I kindly ask that the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this. Thank you for those who have expressed concern for Kanye’s well-being and for your understanding.”
