Kim Kardashian has revealed why she’s stopped breastfeeding baby son, Saint. And it’s a struggle many other mums will be able to relate to.
Because though Kim has enjoyed nursing her youngest, turns out her eldest, North wasn’t a fan of Kim breastfeeding her lil brother. So our Kim has nipped (no pun intended) the nursing in the bud to stop her daughter getting jealous.
The 35-year-old mum-of-two gave birth to her first boy at the end of last year, and has openly admitted that it’s been a tricky transition for her firstborn, two-year-old North.

Opening up about her decision to stop breastfeeding in a teaser clip for ‘Kocktails with Khloe’ the reality star explained that it was difficult to continue because of North’s jealousy.
“North West stopped that for me,” she said when asked if she was still breastfeeding by sister Khloe.
“You’ll die when I tell you what she did. First of all she’d cry so much and try to pull him off me.”
“I was feeding him on [one] side and she was so jealous that she took her little milk box and put it in my bra with the straw sticking out and she wanted to drink while he was drinking.”

It sounds like little Nori soon came to terms with her sibling rivalry but by then Kim had already made the decision to stop.
“She said to me this weekend: ‘Mummy, I’m not mad anymore. You can feed baby brother and I won’t cry'”, Kim continued. ‘And I was like: ‘Honey, the milk’s all dried up.“’

This isn’t the first time Kim has opened up about the breastfeeding battle with her eldest child. Earlier this year, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star penned an honest blog post about the exact same issue. “For some reason, North hates when I feed the baby, and she lays on my lap so Saint can’t be right in front of me to eat, LOL!” she wrote.
“I’ve started to include her: Sometimes I will pump and have her feed him the bottle. That totally worked! She loved helping me, as opposed to my attention being off of her, and now she is my little helper.”
Sounds like North’s enthusiasm for being mummy’s little helper was somewhat shortlived.
