You might think that growing up in the Kardashian household is all extravagant birthday parties and questionable Halloween decor, but it seems that isn't quite the case. In fact, Kim Kardashian just revealed the strict set of parenting rules that her daughter, North West, has to follow.

Much like other children her age, nine-year-old North is a big fan of social media, especially when it comes to TikTok. The youngster shares an account on the video platform with her mum, but her use of TikTok comes with a list of rules.

Speaking to Gwyneth Paltrow on her Goop podcast, Kim – who is also mum to Chicago, Psalm and Saint, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West – said: 'It [TikTok] can only be on my own phone.'

Not only that, but the mum-of-four added that North isn't allowed to scroll through TikTok either. 'It’s not something where she can scroll and look at things,' the reality TV star explained. 'We don’t do comments,' she went on, pointing out that North uses the app as a creative outlet only.

'She loves to do it and it makes her so happy. She’s so innocent in so many ways,' Kim continued.

Kim's comments on North's TikTok use come shortly after Kanye spoke out about his daughter being on the app, saying that she joined it 'against' his will. Most recently, Kim said that co-parenting can be 'really f*cking hard' and that she's doing her best to protect her children from being impacted by this.
