Kim Kardashian West Shows Off SKIMS Body Tape After Painful Past Experiences

• Kim Kardashian West just revealed the next product she's releasing within her shapewear line, SKIMS.

• Kardashian West demonstrated how to use the SKIMS body tape, which comes in handy if you're wearing a revealing outfit that would show a bra underneath.

• The KKW Beauty founder also discussed her previous, and very painful, experiments with other types of tape.

Kim Kardashian West regularly wears skimpy outfits, many of which would reveal her underwear, if she were wearing any. Instead, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum discovered over the years that using gaffer tape in place of a bra meant that she was able to sport revealing looks without flashing her undergarments.

However, depending on the tape used, Kardashian West found problems with the hack. Sometimes her skin would be ripped off; other times, her nipples would be burnt by removal of the tape. It's a pain we don't like to imagine. So understandably, she wanted to create a product she could use that is pain-free. Enter the SKIMS tonal body tape and pasties.

The reality star reveals how to use the product in a tutorial video. Putting the tape on a model, she explains, "Hey guys, I'm in my closet, and I'm going to show you how to tape up your boobs with the boob tape, because it's something that I used for so many years." She also reveals, "I haven't really seen a tape that's out there that was in different variety of new colors, so I'm excited to launch these really soon along with our nipple covers."

Kardashian West explains in the video her negative reactions to using tapes previously, saying that some types of tape "would burn me and rip me." Now, that's bound to make anyone squirm.

SKIMS tonal body tape has a slight stretch to it to allow ultimate hold underneath whatever you're wearing, and it comes in three shades. Clearly, if the new tape avoids the painful problems that gaffer or masking tape previously created, then we're all for it!
