Kimberly High School teacher placed on leave after allegations of inappropriate conduct at another school district

KIMBERLY - A Kimberly High School teacher has been placed on administrative leave after allegations of inappropriate conduct with students in another school district.

According to a Kimberly Area School District news release, the alleged misconduct took place when the teacher worked in the other district.

The release doesn't name the other district or specify the inappropriate conduct. But it does say there's no evidence that any students in Kimberly were involved in the misconduct.

The Kimberly district placed the teacher on administrative leave as soon as it found out about the allegations and is cooperating with law enforcement, the release says.

It doesn't specify when Kimberly found out about the allegations, beyond saying it was "recently made aware."

The district is restricted in how much information it can share since the matter remains under investigation, the release says.

The district encourages anyone with information related to the situation to contact the Fox Valley Metro Police Department at 920-788-7505.
