Kinetic closing retail location in Granville
Kinetic by Windstream has announced it will close its retail location in Granville.
In a news release, Kinetic shared it will close the retail store at 131 E. Broadway effective April 28. It's one of nine locations closing around the country, and one of two closing in Ohio with the other in Hudson, Ohio.
The Granville location opened in September 2021.
Kerri Case, a Kinetic spokesperson, said via email that the Granville building is a central office for the company and employees for Kinetic operations will still report there.
According to the news release the closures are part of an overall strategy to align the company's resources with trends in customer demand. As more people are using digital channels, like the GoKinetic website and customer portal, to do business and manage their accounts, Kinetic decided to reallocate resources to those channels.
There will be no changes to local customers’ home service options. They will continue to get fast, reliable internet, voice and entertainment options as they currently do.
Customers who used these retail locations for bill payment have options for future payments, including mailing payments, using the GoKinetic Customer portal or enrolling in AutoPay.
Customers may mail payments to Windstream Communications, P.O. Box 9001908, Louisville, KY 40290-1908. To enroll In autopay, call 877-807-9463. The GoKinetic mobile app is available for download in the Google Play Store or in the App Store and can be accessed online at my.gokinetic.com.
