King Charles III Walks in Procession Behind Queen's Coffin in Edinburgh

Crowds gathered in Edinburgh, Scotland, to watch the procession of the coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth II from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to St Giles’s Cathedral on Monday, September 12.

According to a post on the Scottish Government Twitter page, the queen’s body will lie at rest in St Giles’s Cathedral, and the public will be able to pay their respects from September 12 to September 13.

The queen’s coffin will be moved to London on September 13, where her remains will lie in state at Westminster Hall from Wednesday.
