King Charles and Queen Consort Leave Edinburgh for Northern Ireland

King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort, left Edinburgh for Belfast on September 13, where the king was due to meet Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris and Stormont’s party leaders.

Footage recorded by Adam Leyton shows a convoy of vehicles in Edinburgh including a maroon Rolls Royce carrying the king and queen consort.

The monarch and queen consort were due to attend a service in honor of the queen at Belfast’s St Anne’s Cathedral. UK Prime Minister Liz Truss, Ireland’s President Michael D Higgins, and Taoiseach Micheal Martin were also due to attend.
