Kings Island looking to fill 5,000 positions during week-long hiring event

Kings Island is looking to fill thousands of open positions for the upcoming season during a hiring event later this month.

The park will hold a week-long hiring effort February 18-24, to fill 5,000 open positions for the upcoming season. During Presidents Day weekend, the park will hold the job fair, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a park spokesperson said in a media release issued Monday.

During these hiring events, job seekers will be able to apply, interview, and be hired all on the same day.

In addition to the hiring event, Kings Island will visit more than 20 high schools during the same week to talk with students about job opportunities.

The open positions are available to those 16-years and older in all areas of the park, including ride operators, park services, food and beverage, merchandise, lifeguards, security, and guest services.

Positions pay between $15 and $18.25 per hour. A park spokesperson said that pay is based on experience, prior service, and position. Other job perks include discounts, free meals, free admission to any Cedar Fair park, and more.
