The Kings will play their preseason opener in Toronto as part of the NBA Canada Series before returning to California for four more games as they prepare for the start of the 2023-24 season.

The Kings unveiled their five-game preseason schedule Thursday. The schedule is highlighted by a road game against the Los Angeles Lakers and a home-and-home set against the Golden State Warriors in a rematch of last season’s Western Conference playoff series.

The Kings will open preseason play against the Toronto Raptors on Oct. 8 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. The Kings will then fly 1,300 miles south to face the Lakers in another neutral site game Oct. 11 at Honda Center in Anaheim.

The Kings will play their preseason home opener against the Warriors on Oct. 15 at Golden 1 Center before visiting the Warriors on Oct. 18 at Chase Center in San Francisco. The Kings will conclude their preseason schedule at home against the Utah Jazz on Oct. 19 at Golden 1 Center.

Single-game tickets for preseason home games will go on sale in August. Fans can sign up for presale access at Kings.com/presale.

The Kings’ home game against the Warriors will be broadcast live on NBC Sports California. The other games will be streamed on Kings.com.

The Kings are hoping to build on last season’s success after earning the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference to make their first playoff appearance since 2006. They lost to the Warriors in the first round in a memorable seven-game series.

The Kings will return starters De’Aaron Fox, Kevin Huerter, Harrison Barnes, Keegan Murray and Domantas Sabonis along with top reserves Malik Monk, Davion Mitchell and Trey Lyles. The biggest offseason addition was former Olympiacos star Sasha Vezenkov, who signed with Sacramento after winning EuroLeague MVP last season.
