All-NBA point guard De’Aaron Fox’s status for Saturday’s game against the Utah Jazz at Golden 1 Center is uncertain due to a shoulder injury suffered in Thursday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Kings (14-9) are listing Fox as questionable because of right shoulder irritation. Fox finished with 41 points and seven assists in a 128-123 victory over the Thunder on Thursday despite injuring the shoulder in the fourth quarter.

The Jazz (9-16) have a number of injury concerns as well. Jordan Clarkson is out with a right hamstring strain. Keyonte George is out with left foot soreness. John Collins and Luka Samanic are out due to illness.

If Fox is unable to play, the Kings will likely start undrafted two-way player Keon Ellis at point guard. Ellis scored a career-high 17 points with six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one blocked shot against Oklahoma City. He went 6 of 8 from the field and 5 of 7 from 3-point range.

The Kings handed the Jazz a 130-114 loss in the season opener Oct. 25 in Salt Lake City. Harrison Barnes scored 33 points for Sacramento in that game. Clarkson led the Jazz with 24 points.

Scouting Sacramento

The Kings have won three of their last four games. They are fifth in the Western Conference, four games behind the conference-leading Minnesota Timberwolves.

Fox is averaging 30.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists while shooting 47.5% from the field and 38.7% from 3-point range. He is sixth in the NBA in scoring behind Joel Embiid, Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Kevin Durant.

Domantas Sabonis is averaging 18.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists with 19 double-doubles. He is third in the NBA in rebounding.

Malik Monk is building a strong case as a Sixth Man of the Year candidate, averaging 14.8 points and 5.0 assists. Keegan Murray (13.8 ppg), Kevin Huerter (11.2 ppg) and Barnes (11.1 ppg) are also scoring in double figures.

Scouting Utah

Utah is coming off back-to-back wins over the New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers after losing five of its previous six games. The Jazz is 12th in the Western Conference, 4 ½ games behind the Phoenix Suns for the final play-in spot.

Lauri Markkanen is averaging 23.7 points and 8.6 rebounds. Clarkson averages 16.6 points and 4.9 assists. Collins is averaging 14.5 points and 8.6 rebounds.

Collin Sexton (13.8 ppg), George (10.9 ppg) and Talen Horton-Tucker (10.4 ppg) are also scoring in double figures while Walker Kessler is averaging 8.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.8 blocks.
