'I Kissed A Boy' Gets Early Premiere Date – Find Out When It Comes Out
If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the UK’s first-ever all-gay dating show, you’re in luck, because I Kissed a Boy has just landed an earlier premiere date!
The first two episodes of the historic reality TV show will land on BBC iPlayer on Saturday, May 13, with the show officially premiering on BBC Three the following day.
I Kissed a Boy will follow 10 single guys as they are paired up by matchmakers and kiss for the first time as soon as they meet.
“No small talk. No messages. Just one kiss to test out their chemistry straight away. Will it be a polite peck? Or a passionate snog? And ultimately, will that first kiss lead to love?” according to the synopsis.

Narrated by Bad Education star Layton Williams, the dating show will feature singletons trying to find connections while living in an Italian villa. Throughout the season they’ll be given the opportunity to explore new relationships or stay with their current partners every time there is a “Kiss-Off” between them.
Like all of the best reality TV shows this one promises “explosive drama, gripping cliffhangers and powerful untold stories,” including coming out stories, the trials and tribulations of body image issues in the gay dating scene, and tales of first same-sex relationships.
The groundbreaking show will be a celebration of the queer community, according to a press release from the BBC. It will also feature a “sparkling soundtrack frill of gay anthems.” We would expect no less from a show hosted by Australian popstar Dannii Minogue. Minogue is a perfect fit for such a queer show, considering she’s always been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. Moreover, her sister Kylie Minogue is a huge icon in the gay community.
While there are countless dating shows focusing on straight couples, I Kissed a Boy will focus exclusively on gay love connections because “the path to love is never straight. It’s loud, it’s proud… and it all starts with a kiss."
