Kitchen fire causes $60k in estimated damages at Symba’s in Brown County

HOWARD, Wis. (WFRV) – Multiple departments responded to Symba’s, a bar and grill in Brown County, on Thursday morning after reports of a fire in its kitchen area.

A release from the Howard Fire Department states that crews responded to Symba’s, located in the 2300 block of Velp Avenue, around 9:50 a.m. on February 22.

When fire crews arrived, an active fire was found in the kitchen area of the bar and grill.

Drug distribution ring in Wisconsin busted after extensive 18-month investigation, 6 arrests made

Authorities say the fire was brought under control within five minutes of the initial call. However, damage to the kitchen is estimated at $60,000.

The Pulaski-Tri County Fire Department, and Suamico Fire Department County Rescue assisted during the incident.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time, authorities say.
