More than 600 meals were dished out on Thanksgiving by the Kiwanis Club and its partners as it celebrated its yearly tradition of giving.

The Kiwanis Club, along with Alpha Coney Island and Adrian Public Schools, celebrated the 23rd annual distribution as they handed out meals from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Drager Early Education Center, 340 E. Church St. in Adrian.

The meals are specifically targeted to those who are in need, alone or unable to travel this holiday season.
