KKW Beauty Is About to Launch Its Version of the Classic Red Lipstick

It's been a little over half a year since we were introduced to KKW Beauty's first lipsticks, and it was no surprise that the collection offered a range of nude shades — and only nude shades. This is Kim Kardashian West's brand, after all, and nude lipstick is, well, very on-brand. While other colors in the pink and peach families have launched in the past few months, the brand hasn't made a straight-up red lipstick — until now.

The KKW Beauty Instagram has basically dedicated the past few days of posts to building anticipation for the launch of Classic Red Créme Lipstick. It's "our first ever true red crème lipstick," says the caption for the first photo to introduce the shade. In it, Kim is wearing the timeless lip color with a brown smoky eye by makeup artist Sam Visser, while lounging in a bathtub (or a tiny pool?), wearing a white, cut-up tee. You know, a classic water-lounging look.

But even if you don't find yourself in a similar outfit/water container, there's no doubt this new shade will look incredible with a lot of looks. The brand says Classic Red Créme Lipstick is "Kim's version of the iconic and timeless staple," and a "lip-quenching formula [that] contains moisturizing oils and extracts to deliver a creamy and luxurious application that hugs the lips for the most comfortable wear."

Classic Red Créme Lipstick is launching for $18 with a matching Red Créme Lip Liner, which, according to an Instagram caption, contrasts perfectly with the lipstick and adds dimension and shape. The pencil will be available individually for $12, but you'll also be able to snag the set for $28 (a $2 savings over buying the two products separately).

The new color launches on kkwbeauty.com on January 25, but if you happen to be in the Costa Mesa, California, area, you'll have early access to it at a South Coast Plaza KKW Beauty pop-shop on January 23.
