Benoit Blanc is here and apparently queer.

The Stephen Sondheim-loving Southern sleuth that Daniel Craig portrays in the “Knives Out” films has been outed.

During a press conference Sunday at the London Film Festival, “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” director Rian Johnson confirmed the sexuality of the beloved character.

The filmmaker was asked whether Blanc was queer after a scene in the film appears to show him living with another man.

“Yes, he obviously is,” Johnson replied. .

In the sequel to the 2019 star-studded blockbuster, set to start streaming on Netflix Dec. 23, the dapper detective’s supposed partner is portrayed by a British actor whose identity is being kept under wraps for now.

“There’s nobody in the world I can imagine bringing me more joy for Benoit Blanc to be with,” the director said.

Craig, who was also at the press conference, teased, “No spoilers [but] who wouldn’t want to live with that person?”

Along with Craig, the cast of the murder mystery includes Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr. and Janelle Monáe. Late theater legends Angela Lansbury and Sondheim also reportedly make cameos in the film.

“Glass Onion,” was filmed last summer in Greece and centers on a tech billionaire who invites his friends for a getaway on his private island. When someone turns up dead, Blanc is tapped to solve the crime.
