Knott’s Berry Farm celebrates rebranded hotel, returning food festival

Knott’s Berry Farm is gearing up for the annual return of the Boysenberry Festival and celebrating the complete renovation of its rebranded hotel.

The Knott’s Hotel, formally known as the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel, has completed its multimillion-dollar hotel transformation. The rebranded hotel now has a new coffee bar, restaurant, courtyard and expanded gift shop. The hotel’s 322 guest rooms and 20,000 square-foot meeting space were also renovated.

The Knott’s Hotel also celebrates the legacy of Walter and Cordelia Knott, the park’s founders, by “blending invention, tradition, and imaginative style into a captivating 322-room guest haven for park and business guests alike,” a news release said.

The new restaurant, Thirty Acres Kitchen, is one of the places in the hotel that pays tribute to the park’s founders. The name pays homage to the original 30 acres of the couple’s farm and Cordelia Knott’s culinary skills.

The restaurant will serve “farm-inspired delights and classic American cuisine” along with seasonal items that “complement the park’s themed areas, festivals and events,” a news release said.

The hotel is next to the theme park, where guests will celebrate the Boysenberry Festival beginning on March 8.

This year, new food offerings include:

  • Chicken tikka masala with boysenberry curry sauce and pork loin slices over mashed potatoes with a creamy boysenberry mustard sauce

  • Boysenberry and chocolate stuffed cookie

  • Lemon bar with a boysenberry compote

  • Boysenberry brownie parfait

A six-tasting card will be available for $55. Guests can also purchase items individually.

Along with the Boysenberry-infused foods, guests can enjoy musical performances and interactive gameplay, participate in the Boysenberry Pie Eating contest, or visit the Boysenberry Festival Craft Fair and more.
