What to know about the 2021 Birmingham Bowl: ticket, kickoff time, venue and TV info

After a one-year absence, the Ticketsmarter Birmingham Bowl makes its return in 2021. The game last year was canceled due to the pandemic and returns Dec. 28. Kickoff is at 11 a.m. and it will be televised by ESPN.

Who's playing in the Birmingham Bowl?

Houston (11-2) and Auburn (6-6) will play in the bowl game. Auburn comes in with wins over Ole Miss, LSU and Arkansas, while Houston comes is following an appearance in the AAC championship game, where it lost to Cincinnati.

Where is the Birmingham Bowl?

The game will be held in Protective Stadium in Birmingham.

If you're used to going to Legion Field for the Birmingham Bowl, the game has moved. This year is the first year the game will be in Protective Stadium. Information on game day parking and a stadium map can be found here.
