What to know about the 2022 Shrine Bowl, the Carolinas' top all-star football game

Though the South Carolina high school football season is now officially over, there's one more game to play in 2022 featuring Upstate student-athletes: The 2022 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, which pits the top seniors from South Carolina against the top seniors from the state's neighbors, North Carolina.

The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, which is widely considered the top football all-star game in the two states given the amount of top prospects that participate, is put on not only to recognize the top senior football players in the both states, but to fundraise for the Shriner's Hospital in Greenville.

When and where the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas will be played, how to get tickets

When: Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Saturday. Stadium gates open at 10 a.m.

Where: Vikings Stadium at Spartanburg High School, 2250 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC.
