What to know about the 2023 BCGA Match Play Championship

Aug. 24—WHEN, Where — Friday-Sunday, Heidelberg Country Club. Friday, 8:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, tentatively 10 a.m.

Format: The low 32 players after 18 holes of stroke play Friday advance to match play in two flights (championship, top 16; first flight, next 16). Sudden death will be used to determine the match play field in both flights. Two rounds in both flights will be played Saturday, with the semis and finals in both flights Sunday.

Last year: Alex Seelig defeated Ross Pilliod 3-and-2 in the final at Berkshire Country Club.
