Calls must be placed 24 hours in advance during office hours for bilingual staff to receive the request.

This will help those who cannot drive, don’t have a car or whose relatives live too far away.

The “I Teach You” program gives hands-on training to older adults with smartphones and tablets, which can help inspire new hobbies and keep them in contact with family members. They’ll work with applications like Google and YouTube.

Laudi Campo, the Director of the Hispanic Federation for Florida, said the nonprofit wants to recognize the role grandparents play in Hispanic families. She said these services focus on helping them, considering the struggles they faced during the pandemic.
