What to know about the Berks County Golf Association Amateur Championship
Aug. 4—WHEN, Where — Friday-Sunday. (First tee time is 8 a.m. Friday, 9 a.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday).
Where: Golden Oaks Golf Club (par 72).
Format: 54 holes, stroke play. The field will be cut following Saturday's second round to the top 30 players and ties. If there is a tie for first after 54 holes, there will be a three-hole playoff, followed by, if necessary, a sudden-death playoff.
Last year: Chris Storck closed with a 2-over 73 for a total of 2-over 215 to beat Brock Kovach by one stroke at Galen Hall GC and earn his third Berks Am title. Storck shot 72 in the first round and 70 in the second.
