What to know about Crumbl Cookies opening in Rockford

The wait is over. Rockford's first Crumbl Cookies store opened Thursday morning and will host a grand opening Friday.

The store is tucked away in a corner at 6150 E. State St. Suite 120 between Skechers and Pearl Vision in the Mulford Village shopping plaza.

What's the big deal about Crumbl Cookies?

Offering more than over 300 different flavors, there's likely a cookie or two or three to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth.

How can it offer so many cookies at once?

It doesn't. Six flavors are offered each week. Because Crumbl Cookies changes its cookie offerings on a weekly basis, the company has garnered a strong social media following as customers check in frequently to try different flavors.

What are this week's flavors?

Milk chocolate chip, Boston cream pie, chocolate cookies & cream, confetti cake, salted caramel cheesecake, and chocolate swiss roll.

Are any cookies on the menu at all times?

Chocolate chip cookies are made every week but the flavors alternate from milk chocolate one week to semi-sweet the next.

Are the cookies baked fresh?

Yes. All the cookies are baked in-house in an open kitchen.

Is Crumbl Cookies a growing company?

Since opening its doors five years ago, Crumbl has expanded to over 800 bakeries in 50 states, making it one of the fastest-growing cookie companies in the U.S. The company expanded into Canada this year.

Single cookie, $4.78; four-pack box, $15.58; six-pack box, $23.98; one dozen party box, $40.78.

What are the store hours?

8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday.
