What to know about the Harbor Freight hardware store coming to Franklin in March
The popular hardware store chain Harbor Freight is coming to Franklin.
The new store will be moving into the former Bridgewater Fitness location at 6542 S. Lovers Lane Road, according to the company website.
When will Harbor Freight in Franklin be open?
The store is expected to open in March with a specific date to be announced closer to opening.
When will construction start on the new store in Franklin?
Construction has already started “using local workers and companies from the surrounding Franklin area,” according to a Jan. 23 news release from the company.
Why did Harbor Freight choose Franklin for a new location?
Trey Feiler, the senior vice president of real estate and construction for Harbor Freight said the company has been looking to open a location in Franklin for years.
“In addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great Associates in the Franklin area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team,” he said in a statement.
What job opportunities will be available at the Harbor Freight in Franklin?
The store will bring up to 30 new jobs to the area including sales associates, logistic supervisors, senior associates and seasonal opportunities, according to the release. The chain employs over 28,000 associates in 1,400 locations across the country.
