What to know before heading to the QBE Shootout golf tournament in Naples

Tiburón Golf Club at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in North Naples is hosting its second major tour golf event in less than three weeks.
This week is the PGA Tour's QBE Shootout, a 24-player team event hosted and founded by Hall of Famer Greg Norman. The LPGA Tour's CME Group Tour Championship was played on the club's Gold Course from Nov. 18-21, with Jin Young Ko winning the $1.5 million final prize.

The Shootout is a fun event with the 12 two-person teams playing three different formats from Friday through Sunday. This is the 21st straight year it's been played here at the club that Norman designed both courses at. Tiburón is even Spanish for shark, and Norman's nickname is the Shark, so ...
Before heading out, here's a guide to what you'll need to know and what to expect once you arrive for the event that runs through Sunday.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are $35 for daily grounds, $85 for weekly grounds. Availability remains for the Miller Lite Brew House on Friday, Saturday or Sunday at $110 apiece each day. That's located between Nos. 8 and 17 greens.

The same goes for the Shark Club, which is $300 per day, that is located next to the 18th green. Both of those upgraded hospitality areas include amenities such as food and beverage and TVs, with the latter also having private restrooms.
The tournament will provide complimentary admission each day to all veterans, active, reserve and retired military personnel and their dependents. To receive a complimentary ticket, a valid proof of service must be shown at the tournament’s main gate. The offer is valid at the gate only.

Where do I park?
General parking is located in Lot B (Thursday only) and Lot C (Friday through Sunday) on Orange Blossom Drive between Airport Pulling Road and Livingston Road. The parking fee is $10 per vehicle. Shuttles will be provided to and from the golf course.
Anyone requiring handicapped parking and who have has a handicapped parking pass may enter the VIP parking lot at Vanderbilt Beach and Livingston roads.
What's there to eat?
There are concession stands located at various areas on the golf course.
What can I do when I'm not watching golf?
The Hotwire Expo Village is set up throughout tournament week where you’ll find the latest in golf nutrition, vehicle displays by Mercedes-Benz and much more.
The Tiburón Merchandise Tent also is set up in the expo village. The merchandise center will be located at the rear of the Expo Village and will feature an assortment of QBE Shootout merchandise and gifts from Greg Norman Collection.
And the Collier tourism Family Golf Clinic is back, on Friday around 4 p.m. after the first round is over. Tournament founder and host Greg Norman will host the free clinic, along with a couple of players from the tournament field.
The Lee Health Fairway Yoga is another free event, and set for Saturday morning from 8 to 8:45 a.m. on the 18th fairway.
What is Live Fest?
The second concert as part of the Shootout weekend returns after last year's was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This year's event is headlined by country music superstar Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell, with opening acts Runaway June, a female country trio, and local act Ben Allen Band. The concert is from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Tiburón Golf Club Driving Range.
General admission tickets are still available, at livefest.com, and are $135.
The inaugural concert in 2019 featured Darius Rucker, Lady A, Jordan Davis, and Ben Allen Band.
Will any celebrities be there?
Country singer Swindell will be playing in the pro-am Wednesday and Thursday. He's teeing off at 9 a.m. Thursday with Tour pro Ian Poulter.
FOX News' Bret Baier also is playing in the pro-am. He's playing with Tour pro Brian Harman at 8:12 a.m. Thursday.
