What to know before James Madison plays the Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl

James Madison will play in its first bowl game since moving to the FBS and will play the Air Force Academy on Dec. 23.

It’s a fact: James Madison: The Dukes are in their second season in the FBS after leaving the FCS. The team was ineligible for postseason play due to the transfer, but was rewarded a bowl game because of an insufficient amount of bowl-qualifying teams.

Air Force: The Falcons hope to snap a four-game losing streak and win their second Armed Forces Bowl in a row.
