What to know: List of places closed for the holiday
I honor of President’s Day, here is a list of all the offices and businesses that will be closed for the federal holiday, Monday, February 20.

ATL Beach closed: City Offices Closed for Presidents’ Day
City of Jacksonville: City Council Offices will be closed in observance of the Presidents Day.
Offices for the City of St. Augustine will be closed on Monday, February 20, in observance of the Presidents’ Day holiday, but solid waste collections will remain on their regular schedule.
Parking in city owned parking lots and on-street parking is free on all national holidays, including Presidents’ Day, except for the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility. Drivers are urged to confirm if a lot is owned by the City of St. Augustine and not a private operator, as many of those lots have strict towing policies. Parking will be enforced for all vehicles parked illegally, including in areas reserved for delivery, franchised sightseeing vehicles and taxis, or vehicles on sidewalks or against yellow curbs.

All departments of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners, St. Johns County Administrative offices, library branches and bookmobiles, the Supervisor of Elections Office, the Property Appraiser’s Office, and the Tax Collector’s Office will be closed Monday, Feb. 20, in observance of the Presidents Day holiday. All offices and libraries will resume standard business hours on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
The Clerk of Court’s Office will maintain standard business hours.
Garbage, recycling, and yard debris collection schedules will not be delayed, and the Tillman Ridge and Stratton Road scale houses will remain open during standard business hours.
CITY OF GCS
City buildings and trash and recycle pick-up will be closed on Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents Day. Buildings will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 21, and trash and recycle pick-up will resume on the next scheduled day.
CLAY COUNTY
The Clay County Administration Building and Public Works Department will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023, in observance of the Presidents Day holiday. Administration offices will reopen at 8 a.m. and the Public Works Department will reopen at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
Clay County Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, February 20, and no materials will be due on that day. Libraries will reopen Tuesday, February 21, at 10 a.m.
Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility will be open during normal operating hours on Monday, February 20 (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.). The administrative offices will be closed. Waste Management will collect garbage and yard waste curbside as usual. Please remember to place materials at the curb before 6:00 a.m.
Most county offices will be closed in observance of this holiday. We will re-open on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
