No one matched all six numbers to win Friday's Mega Millions jackpot.

Seven tickets matched all five numbers except for the Mega Ball worth $1 million. They were purchased in Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.

Two tickets matched all five numbers except for the Mega Ball and added the Megaplier worth $2 million. They were sold in Michigan and Tennessee.

When is the next Mega Millions drawing?

The next drawing is Tuesday, Aug. 8. Mega Millions draws occur twice a week, on every Tuesday and Friday.

A Mega Millions ticket costs $2 each and when customers buy more than one ticket, they have the option to get receive them individually or get them all on one ticket. Eac state has a limit on how many games can be purchased on one ticket.

For an extra dollar, players can add the multiplier. The multiplier is drawn with the other numbers and increases the amount of any prize except for the jackpot. A prize has the chance to be multiplied up to 5 times.
