How is UTEP supposed to do?

The Miners are supposed to win. The game opened as a pick-em but the line has moved to having UTEP favored by a point. Combined with an over-under of 53, the Miners are picked to win 27-26.

Middle Tennessee leads the all-time series 3-1, though this is the first meeting between the two teams since 2018. Starting this year this will become an annual game for the foreseeable future.

Who is Middle Tennessee?

The Blue Raiders picked up a signature victory earlier this season over Miami that capped a three-game win streak, but they haven't won since and are now 3-4. Their current three-game losing streak came against the teams picked 1-3 in Conference USA (UTSA, UAB and Western Kentucky).

Quarterback Chase Cunningham has completed 66 percent of his passes and has 10 touchdown passes against five interceptions.

Middle Tennessee turned down an offer this past offseason to join the Mid-American Conference, opting to be one of the five current C-USA teams to stay in the league beyond this year.
