What is Ingles known for?

His goal growing up was to play for the Adelaide 36ers. The dream almost came true, but  fizzled when his contract from the club arrived with his first name spelled as "Joesph". He decided not to sign with the team after that. He wound up playing in Europe from 2006-'14. He was not picked in the 2009 NBA draft. After spending 2014 preseason with the Los Angeles Clippers, Ingles was acquired by the Utah Jazz on October 27, 2014. Ingles made his NBA debut two days later, playing four minutes but only had a missed three-point attempt in a loss to the Houston Rockets. A day later, he recorded his first two NBA points in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks. In 2016-'17, Ingles recorded the best three-point percentage (.441) by a Jazz player since Kyle Korver set an NBA record (.536) in 2009-'10, and became the first Jazz player in franchise history to shoot at least .441 from beyond the arc with at least 270 attempts. On 8 January 2021, Ingles missed a game due to an Achilles injury, which ended his streak of 418 consecutive games played. This streak included 384 regular-season games and 34 playoff games. His last missed game was on December 16,  2015. On January 29, 2021, Ingles drained his 846th three-pointer, surpassing John Stockton for the most three-pointers made in franchise history. He finished the as the runner-up for NBA Sixth Man of the Year behind Jazz teammate Jordan Clarkson.
