What to know from Packers’ first injury report of NFC Championship week

The Green Bay Packers released their first injury report ahead of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The report featured 11 players, but all players on the Packers active roster participated in some fashion during Wednesday’s practice, highlighting the overall health of Matt LaFleur’s team at this point in the season.

Here’s what to know from the injury report:

– Rookie running back A.J. Dillon was able to practice in a limited capacity. He injured his quad in the second half against the Los Angeles Rams last Saturday and didn’t return. His participation Wednesday suggests he’ll be capable of playing against the Bucs, barring a setback.

– Kicker Mason Crosby was listed with a shoulder injury. He was injured on a botched extra-point attempt against the Rams but finished the game. The Packers listed him as limited. The team could promote JJ Molson from the practice squad if Crosby is in any danger of missing Sunday.

– Defensive lineman Kingsley Keke, who has missed the last two games with a concussion, practiced in a limited capacity. A key situational pass-rusher, Keke could return Sunday.

– Rookie linebacker Krys Barnes practiced despite dealing with a thumb injury. He needed a cast to protect the injury last week against the Rams. The Packers are confident he’ll play Sunday.

– Running back Jamaal Williams is dealing with a new ankle injury. He was listed as a limited participant.

– Safety Will Redmond has a new knee injury but was a full participant on Wednesday.

– Offensive lineman Jared Veldheer remains on the COVID-19 reserve list and is not listed on the injury report.

– The Buccaneers held a walkthrough practice on Wednesday, but receiver Antonio Brown (knee) and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (knee, not injury related) didn’t participate. Receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, running back Ronald Jones and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting were all limited.
