What to know about road closures, parking for Nashville Rock n' Roll Marathon

Runners unite as Nashville prepares for a weekend of races for everyone, including its annual marathon.

The marathon is one of the weekend events that include a kids race at Nissan Stadium, a doggie dash and mile run on Sunday.

"We are excited to be back for our 23rd running of the St Jude Rock 'n’ Roll Running Series Nashville," regional director Drew Wolff said. "The weekend is full of great music, and you don't need to be a hardcore runner, we have distances of a mile up to a marathon, kids’ race, and a doggie dash.  All the events are a unique and inspiring way to experience Music City Nashville."

For those not participating in the race, there will be issues getting around certain parts of the city.
