What you need to know about the RoCo Music Fest

CHILLICOTHE — The RoCo Music Fest is happening this weekend at the Ross County Fairgrounds and the three-day event is sure to be a party. Before you put on your boots and cowboy hats and enjoy the beer garden here is what you need to know about the RoCo Music Fest.

When does the fair open daily?

For those not camping the gates to the fairgrounds open daily at 11 a.m. with vendors opening at the same time. At 3 p.m. the gates will open to the concert area, the show will start at 5 p.m. with the main act starting around 9 p.m.

Where is parking?

Parking for the RoCo Music Fest will cost $10. Guests will enter off Ohio 104 and park in general parking on the left. In this parking guests will enter the grounds by the tunnel. Parking will also be available at gate three on the right.

What is allowed in?

After parking visitors will make their way to the entrance where a metal detector will be set up. No firearms, large bags or coolers are permitted. If guests want to bring things onto the grounds it is recommended that it be in a small bag. Camping chairs are also permitted.

Are tickets still available?

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for each night of the event. You can also purchase tickets online at the RoCo Music Fest website.

What is the wristband for?

The wristband given to you when buying your ticket is important as it shows what days you paid to attend. If you bought a three-day pass it is important to keep the band on for all three days so that workers know you are permitted on the grounds.
