Alabama football will face Kansas State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Dec. 31 in New Orleans.

It'll be the Crimson Tide's 17th appearance in the New Year's Six bowl game and their first appearance since the 2017 season. Alabama is 9-7 in those games. Alabama missed the College Football Playoff with TCU ranking at No. 3 and Ohio State at No. 4.

The Big 12 champion Kansas State is making it's first Sugar Bowl appearance against the Crimson Tide for the teams' first meeting. The TCU Horned Frogs suffered a 31-28 overtime loss to the Wildcats before making it into the CFP.
